Sign a PDF on iPhone
You can sign a PDF on iPhone in Safari, or on Android in Chrome, with no app to install and no account. PDF Signer places a drawn, typed, or PNG or JPEG signature in the browser. There is no fixed file-size cap, so a large PDF can fail when the phone runs out of memory. The mark is visual. It does not verify identity or create a certificate signature.
Limits on a phone
- No application file-size cap is enforced. Practical capacity is the phone’s browser memory and the page count.
- Draw with a finger or stylus, type a signature, or place a PNG or JPEG. A finger is less precise than a mouse.
- The result is a visual mark on the page. It is not a certificate signature and it does not prove who signed.
- The PDF and the signature stay in the browser. Closing the tab discards the in-memory copy. There is no EditPDF AI app to install.
Open the tool
Open PDF Signer in Safari or Chrome, choose the PDF, place the signature, and download the new file. Read what the mark does and does not prove before you rely on it.
