Terms of Service

By accessing or using EditPDF AI ("the Service," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

EditPDF AI is the public product name. The website does not currently publish a verified legal operator name, business registration, office address, or team location.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

EditPDF AI provides browser-based PDF editing, conversion, and AI-powered document tools. The Service includes:

• EditPDF AI has 51 active tools. 41 include browser-based core workflows that can be used without an account. Signed-in free accounts can use up to 5 metered AI actions per UTC day; Pro removes that daily cap. Tool-specific input and processing limits still apply.
• No conversion currently requires Pro. PDF to Word, PDF to Excel, and PDF to PowerPoint require a signed-in account and use the shared 5-action Free allowance. Pro removes that daily cap; the same conversion input and processing limits still apply.

Browser-based tools. Core editing and page tools identified as browser-based process the selected document on your device and do not send its contents through an EditPDF AI document-processing route. Some tools load required code, workers, or fonts from third-party content delivery networks.

Conversion tools. Conversion processing depends on the tool. Browser-based conversions rebuild the output on your device. AI-assisted PDF-to-Word, PDF-to-Excel, and PDF-to-PowerPoint actions send extracted text through an EditPDF AI server route to the configured AI provider.

OCR. PDF OCR opens and renders the source PDF in your browser. When a page needs OCR, the rendered page image is sent through an EditPDF AI server route to the configured AI provider; the application does not deliberately store the source PDF or OCR image in its database or object storage.

Other AI tools send the content required for the selected action through EditPDF AI server routes to configured processing providers. See the Privacy Policy for the feature-specific data flows.

A free account lets you access AI features with a daily limit. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process, distribute, or create illegal content
• Infringe on intellectual property rights or privacy of others
• Attempt to bypass security measures or rate limits
• Use automated scripts to abuse AI features or overload the Service
• Resell or sublicense the Service without permission

US$1.00 billed monthly in USD as a recurring subscription. Stripe provides the payment fields and processes the subscription. By subscribing, you authorise recurring monthly charges to your payment method.

Cancel from account settings at any time. Pro access continues through the current billing period, then the account returns to Free. Cancellation does not create a partial refund for unused time.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to current subscribers.

Refund requests are accepted within 7 days of the first subscription payment. Renewals are not refundable. Please contact support@editpdfai.com with your request.

Except for third-party software and materials used under their respective licences, the Service's original interface and content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You retain your rights to the documents you process. EditPDF AI does not claim ownership of document content you submit to or generate with the Service.

AI features produce automated output including summaries, translations, mind maps, quiz questions, conversions, OCR text, and suggested form values. This output is provided for convenience and informational purposes only.

AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Review results against the source document before relying on them, especially for legal, medical, financial, or other high-stakes use.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EditPDF AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms do not currently designate a particular governing-law jurisdiction or mandatory arbitration forum. Applicable law, non-waivable consumer rights, and the available dispute forum depend on the circumstances.
