What does PDF metadata contain?

PDF metadata is hidden document information, such as author, title, creator, dates, XMP properties, and document identifiers. It is not the words printed on the page. Removing it does not erase names, comments, or secrets written on the page, and it does not remove file attachments.

What EditPDF AI does

Remove PDF Metadata strips those common hidden properties in the browser, without sending the file to a server and without an account, and keeps the visible page content. Files can be up to 100 MB.
